Community garden documentary screening

We are happy to be partnering with Revolution Brewing in Chicago to offer a screening of the film Urban Roots which profiles the role urban farming and gardening is playing in the city of Detroit, Michigan.

You can find out more about the film and see a trailer here:

The event is being held at Revolution Brewery in Logan Square on Sunday, December 11, 2011.  Cost to get into the event is just $5.  Also, if you bring a non-perishable food item to donate to their food drive, you will receive ONE FREE BEER TICKET.  This is a GREAT deal and will be a chance to meet other people interested in community gardening, see a great independent film that you probably wont be able to see anywhere else, and try some great locally brewed beer. Revolution Brewery is easy to access from Forest Park.  Just take the blue line to the California station in Logan Square.  If you'd like to join me and other FPCGers taking the train, let me know and we can meet you at the Harlem station and all take the train together.

You must RSVP to this event to fpcommunitygarden@gmail.com
