Native Garden Update: What's Blooming August 2011

Now that they've had a couple months to grow, some of the native plants we planted this spring are starting to bloom! While they are still young--many of them will be much taller and have more flowers in subsequent years--its good to see that they seem to be happy in their new garden home. Here's a list of what plants are currently blooming in the garden, where you can find them, and links to more info about each plant. Anyone is invited to come over to the garden and see these plants in person. Just remember to enjoy the plants with your eyes and your cameras, but please do not cut the flowers. Thanks!
